Statement of condemnation towards the criminalisation campaign carried out by Israel towards Palestinian development NGOs

On July 7th, at dawn, the Israeli Army detained Shatha Odeh, director of Health Work Committees, and broke into the central offices of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, Al Bireh, ordering its shutting down for the following 6 months. It is not an isolated fact. It represents an intensification of the actions of harassment, disdain and criminalisation of Palestinian civil society non-governmental organisations by the Israeli State. Together with the development NGOs in the Spanish State that work in Palestine, we have supported a statement expressing our repulsion and condemnation towards the Israeli state, for the criminalisation of the cooperation and humanitarian action sector.
